GARDENA, CA--October 29, 2018--Andamiro, a leader in amusement

redemption games and prize vending machines, is pleased to announce the introduction of Safe Cracker. Andamiro is also announcing the retirement of Super Star, which has been the company’s flagship prize merchandiser for more than three years.

Safe Cracker continues Andamiro’s decade-long commitment to the design and manufacture of prize merchandisers, which operate in arcades and retail locations around the world. It is packaged in a sturdy, steel cabinet that boasts a textured black finish similar to that of an antique iron safe. Safe Cracker’s LED lights create an attractive exterior ambiance and a bright interior environment, making the prize selections stand out.

Merchandisers are fully enclosed amusement vending machines that display prizes and automatically award them to game winners. Safe Cracker's game element is rich in features but easy to play. The player employs a one-button control in an attempt to win prizes skillfully. After a payment is inserted, the game's clock begins to count down. The player holds the button down to start the game and keeps it pressed as the prize disc rotates counterclockwise. He or she has 30 seconds to start the game. They determine when to release the button to try to engage one of seven targets that correspond to a numbered prize shelf. The disc stops immediately when button is released, so there's no carry or travel time, which gives the player full control over the game's outcome.

Safe Cracker includes a small LCD above the center-right prize shelf. In attract mode, the display runs a how-to-play tutorial. In game play, it displays a clock countdown, along with lively animations celebrating winners and lamenting losers. On top of the game, a flashing red strobe light, like those seen on old-fashioned police cars, augments attract and play modes. All of the game's sounds, lights and visuals work in concert to evoke the imagery of a classic heist film … You dirty rats!

Safe Cracker is similar in size to its Super Star predecessor. It measures 40.3" W. x 37” D. x 91.7” H. (76” H. without sign). Seven roomy and adjustable product shelves accommodate a wide variety of prizes, and a highly secure interior deters theft. Each shelf has a maximum size of 10” W. x 7” D. (height varies from 8” to 12” depending on a shelf’s location). The game’s default play time is 30 seconds, but it can be set to play between 10 and 60 seconds.

Andamiro has been manufacturing prize merchandisers since 2009. Winner’s Cube was the company’s first model in the category, and many of them remain in service today. I-Cube and Magic Shot followed, along with S-Cube and Prize Pod, compact machines ideal for either family entertainment centers or street locations. Super Star, Andamiro’s most successful merchandiser, was introduced in March 2015. The company will continue to market Prize Pod, as a compact and lower-cost option, alongside Safe Cracker.

“For some three years, Super Star had lived up to its name,” said Andamiro USA president of sales and marketing Drew Maniscalco. “While Super Star was built to last and earn, we feel the time is right to give equipment operators something new. Safe Cracker not only offers Andamiro’s craftsmanship and advanced engineering, it also brings a fresh look and novel game concept to the market. To be sure, it reinforces our continued commitment to deliver innovative prize solutions to the operator.”

Safe Cracker is expected to ship in earnest in late December. Andamiro will display and demonstrate the game during the IAAPA Attractions Expo, November 13-16, in Orlando, FL. IAAPA showgoers can see it in booth No. 1302.
