The STAR WARS™ Coin Pusher, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm and Disney, brings the iconic Star Wars franchise to the arcade floor in a way that promises to captivate players and deliver solid earnings for operators.   Designed as a two-player game, the Star Wars Coin Pusher features a striking cabinet with authentic imagery and soundscapes from the legendary sci-fi series. Players shoot coins at dynamic targets, earning tickets and coins while winning a series of nine character cards featuring beloved heroes and villains from the Star Wars universe.   The game’s two player sides are themed to the iconic rivalry between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, allowing players to immerse themselves in the Star Wars story. Each side offers a standalone experience, letting players choose between the Dark Side and the Light.       How to Play Star Wars Intuitive, feature-packed and fun! Players use their timing skills to shoot coins at targets on the rotating wheel. Targets provide opportunities to win tickets, drop character cards or dispense additional coins. A special droplight target activates the pinball skill shot mini game, a standout feature of Star Wars. After striking the “ball shoot” target, the adjacent mini game begins: the player loads the ball and launches it with the plunger, aiming to land the ball in one of the lit targets along the vertical ramp.     There’s more! Sinking the ball into a lit target during the pinball stage activates the Bonus Spin skill stop, awarding tickets or a chance to play the Super Spin game. Successfully landing shots in five lit targets also triggers the Super Spin, offering bigger ticket rewards. Both spin games use a drum-shaped wheel, with prize values displayed on the side and top. Andamiro Expands Its Spider-Man Franchise with Economical One-Player Coin Pusher   New model will debut at November’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando, FL Andamiro Co. Ltd., is pleased to announce an exciting extension to the company’s Spider-Man coin-op amusement machine line. The new one-player Spider-Man version retains the engaging gameplay of the original two-player model while offering a more compact configuration suitable for a variety of arcade settings and operators’ budgets.   True to the original, the one-player cabinet is adorned with striking Spider-Man motifs that immediately grab attention. Inside, players engage in the same kinetic gameplay experience that demands precision. Players fire coins causing them and Spider-Man’s iconic blue and red spheres to accumulate on the pusher platform. As the coins and balls amass, they inch closer to the pusher edge, eventually falling over.   Sleek design and gameplay The new one-player Spider-Man Coin Pusher is streamlined in a single-station cabinet measuring 41.26” wide, 48.19” deep and 93.15” high. Weighing 750 lbs. and consuming 240W of power, the downsized model is designed to fit easily into both new and existing arcade environments.   Despite the size reduction, the one-player game maintains the core mechanics and interactive elements that made the original two-player model a big hit. It incorporates the same self-contained in-game elements – silver coins, small blue balls and big red balls – that players use to navigate through the game’s objectives.   Key mechanical features carried over from the two-player version include: The “auto-rotating coin-firing mechanism,” which emulates Spider-Man’s web-shooting gesture. Using a simple one-button activation, the firing feature enhances gameplay to launch coins in quick succession. The player times their shots to strike the illuminated targets. The “rapid auto shot event” that releases up to 45 coins in a 15-second interval (default), with adjustable time settings allowing for 30 to 90 bonus shots. The “Big Ball drop armature,” which pivots left to drop red balls onto the playfield.     However, there are a few differences. To accommodate the one-player’s compacted package, the Spider Sense gauge and Super Spin game that are present in the two-player version have been omitted. Instead, the one-player model boasts an expanded Big Ball game in which the prize layout has been updated to include seven target holes, comprised of six ticket value prizes and one for the super bonus, enhancing the reward structure for players.     Gameplay mechanics In both games, players aim to strike illuminated targets with coins to drop small blue balls onto the pusher platform and advance their position on Spider-Man’s journey map. Lighting up red markers on the map releases big red balls, and when the red balls are pushed over the ledge, the Big Ball game is activated. The one-player Spider-Man Coin Pusher continues to deliver the engaging and immersive experience for which Andamiro is known, now in a space-efficient package. The extensive music library with more than 500 track and advanced scoring system based on a 1-million-point scale remain integral parts of the Pump It Up experience.   How the Update Works Pump It Up Phoenix 2024 began downloading on May 27. To ensure your machine is updated, it must be connected to the internet and running the most recent previous version, Phoenix v1.08.1. Once connected, the update file will be downloaded automatically and processed upon rebooting the machine. Please note that download times may vary depending on your network speed. If the machine is connected using a LAN cable dedicated to Japanese rhythm games (Konami/Bemani, etc.), automatic updates will not occur. Ensure the machine is connected via a regular LAN cable for the update to proceed. Pump It Up no longer supports USB for updates or player profiles.   On May 12th, the first-ever Pump It Up tournament took place at Babylon Park in Camden, London. Over 50 players gathered to showcase their skills in this thrilling rhythm game, with exciting prizes on the line, including official Pump It Up merchandise. The tournament was a resounding success, prompting the intergalactic indoor theme park to announce plans for future events of this kind. With standard tournament rules and three skill-based categories, the competition proved to be an unforgettable experience for players and spectators alike.   The Tournament FormatThe Pump It Up tournament at Babylon Park featured a well-structured format that allowed players of different skill levels to compete fairly. The event comprised three categories: Beginners (Levels 5 to 11), Intermediate (Levels 12 to 16), and Advanced (Level 17+). This classification ensured that participants were pitted against opponents with similar expertise, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition.   Rules and GameplayThe tournament followed standard Pump It Up rules, requiring players to demonstrate their prowess by successfully hitting arrows on the dance pad in sync with the rhythm of the music. Each category consisted of multiple rounds, where participants played two songs per round. The choice of songs remained consistent for all players in each category, ensuring fairness and an equal challenge for all participants.   Advancement to the Next RoundAt the end of each round, the top 25% of players with the highest scores advanced to the subsequent round.   If you’re attending this year’s Amusement Expo International, and looking for trending products to make your operation stand out this summer, come see what’s new and exciting at Andamiro USA’s exhibit. The U.S. division of South Korea’s Andamiro Co. Ltd. will be demonstrating several innovations for the first time in the VR coaster, prize merchandising and free-throw basketball categories.   Following a successful regional showing at the New Jersey Attractions Association, held in Atlantic City in early March, SpongeBob VR Bubble Coaster will be on display for the entire industry at Amusement Expo. The low-cost, unattended VR attraction was developed in partnership with VR entertainment experts Rilix. The Bubble Coaster features three immersive rides that take guests on scenic adventures through Bikini Bottom. Two demo units will be on hand in Andamiro’s booth.   Making its first public appearance is Andamiro’s novel tic-tac-toe basketball adaptation for arcades. One player can compete against the game’s computer, or two can go head to head. Players do their best to shoot a ball into one of the nine baskets arranged in the 3×3 tic-tac-toe grid. The first player to complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of three Xs (or Os) wins the match. If no one wins, the game ends in a draw. Strategy and accuracy win the game!   The celebrated South Korean game-maker is also expected to unveil its next-generation prize merchandiser. Since 2009, Andamiro has led development in the prize vending segment with such devices as Winner’s Cube, I-Cube, Magic Shot, Prize Pod and Safe Cracker, along with the wildly popular Super Star. Hint: the company’s new merchandiser is inspired by one of these legacy lines.   Amusement Expo International, sponsored by the Amusement and Music Operators Association (AMOA) and American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) and produced by WT Glasgow Inc., takes place at the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center, March 27-30.
