Andamiro Introduces Pump It Up PHOENIX 2, the 18th Worldwide Arcade Installment in Its Global Dance Game Series

GOYANG-SI, South Korea, and IRVING, Texas—July 1, 2026— Andamiro Co. Ltd. and Andamiro USA Corp. are pleased to announce the release of Pump It Up PHOENIX 2, the newest arcade software installment in Andamiro’s long-running Pump It Up rhythm and dance video game series. Developed by Andamiro’s M-Project team in South Korea, PHOENIX 2 is scheduled to begin shipping in the United States on July 20, following its official release in South Korea on July 9.

Andamiro previewed PHOENIX 2 in May at the PlayX4 2026 gaming convention in South Korea, where attendees were able to experience early access demos of the new software.

A NEW ERA LIT IN GREEN

PHOENIX 2 is the 18th worldwide arcade installment in the Pump It Up series, which debuted in 1999 and remains one of the amusement industry’s most recognized and durable dance simulation brands. The new software builds on the Phoenix generation introduced in 2023 and expanded through the major Phoenix 2024 update, while adding a striking electric-green visual identity, new music, updated interface elements and expanded connectivity with Pump It Up: R!SE, Andamiro’s official PC adaptation now available through Steam.

The new arcade software introduces a dual-mode system that allows players to move between traditional arcade play and R!SE-linked content. By connecting with Steam, players can access original tracks exclusive to R!SE and enjoy additional charts designed to bring new variety to the arcade experience. The integration creates a stronger bridge between Pump It Up’s arcade roots and its newest home-platform expansion, giving players more ways to engage with the franchise across locations and devices.

Aesthetically, the software’s electric-green theme extends across the background, marquee presentation and mascot identity, giving PHOENIX 2 a distinct visual signature from previous Pump It Up versions.

“PHOENIX 2 represents our vision for the future of Pump It Up,” said M-Project leader Mr. Changhee Son, known professionally as MACNOM. “The connection with R!SE is an important step toward bringing arcade and PC players closer together. With PHOENIX 2, our goal is to create one connected community and experience where players can enjoy Pump It Up wherever they choose to play.”

MUSIC, MORE MUSIC!

Music remains central to Pump It Up, and PHOENIX 2 amplifies the series with more than 600 songs, including new K-pop selections, original tracks and compositions from leading rhythm-game artists. Among the many featured titles are IVE’s “BANG BANG,” ILLIT’s “Do the Dance,” MAX’s “B3,” Laur’s “Legendary Dominion,” xi’s “FREEDOM DiVE” and “QUATTUORUX” by D-D-Dice vs. Tanchiky vs. Karameru. The new song list continues Pump It Up’s tradition of blending popular music, World Music and original compositions curated for rhythm-action gameplay.

PHOENIX 2 also introduces an all-new Note Timing command menu, improves the user-interface and renews Pumbility, the game’s player rating and ranking system. The updated interface displays song titles in real time for a smoother player experience, while the redesigned rating balance is intended to provide a more rewarding challenge. “Pumbility,” a term derived from Pump It Up and ability, is the sum of the top 50 highest-rated songs in a player’s history.

PACKAGES AND UPGRADE PATHS

For new game buyers, PHOENIX 2 will ship installed in Andamiro’s popular and proven Pump It Up LX cabinet, a commercial arcade system built around a 55-inch high-definition display, two side-by-side five-step dance stages, four speakers, two subwoofers, brilliant lighting effects and AM.PASS RFID card readers.

The LX is available in its original white finish and alternative black trim; it is widely regarded as one of the sturdiest and most reliable cabinets in the arcade dance category. The complete LX setup measures 66 inches wide by 80 inches deep by 94 inches high, weighs approximately 1,100 pounds and draws 650 watts during operation.

Existing Pump It Up cabinet owners will be able to upgrade compatible models, including LX, CX, TX and FX versions. Machines already running legacy Phoenix software can begin running PHOENIX 2 by installing the SSD upgrade. A second upgrade option is available for machines requiring a main-box upgrade.

In connection with the PHOENIX 2 rollout, Andamiro will eventually take the original Phoenix game server offline. The company will announce the server shutdown date separately, giving operators and players advance notice before the transition, and legacy Phoenix systems will remain playable locally after server support ends.

PHOENIX 2 is offered as a paid software upgrade, with regular free updates planned throughout its service life. Pump It Up systems, parts and software upgrades are sold through authorized Andamiro distributors who can provide pricing. General sales inquiries can be sent to sales@andamirousa.com.
